Well, no, she was being mean and wanted an enemy. Of course she was being nice, couldn't he tell? Or maybe he was like her, friendless, isolated. "Yeah, I'm being nice. Y'know, I'm half-clan, ShadowClan and.... I think ThunderClan, maybe RiverClan.... No, ThunderClan. I prefer to be alone, away from the others who judge me 'cause of my parentage." Orientalpaw mewed calmly, letting the words flow from her maw smoothly once she'd gotten past her problems with remembering her heritage. "So I guess I've decided to try and make a new friend, and I thought you'd like one, too."

Ooc: Ok, I'll make one later.

Orientalpaw twitched an ear in greeting. "Hi... Hawkpaw, how are you?" She mewed smoothly after a moment's hesitation, grey eyes carefully guarded and hidden of all emotions.

Well, what they did was of no concern to Orientalpaw, who couldn't care less about the others as they weren't really her friends at all. She was a guarded cat, and preferred to be alone, where she worked best; trying to befriend Kindledpaw had proven that. The silver Oriental Shorthair yawned and padded out of the apprentice's den, silver eyes narrowing against the sunlight only slightly as the now-mentorless apprentice trotted over to the others silently.

Orientalpaw was silent. She focused on a spot above his head and didn't move for a few moments, considering some of her options: pull away and stalk off, remain where she was, speak or stay silent. Well, it was rather simple when she thought about it, and, silver pelt shimmering, she turned her grey eyes back to watch him. "Hey, I'm not here to do anything bad, 'kay?" The Oriental Shorthair mewed, then repeated her question. "And why so scared? I'm only trying to be nice, only trying to make a friend."

ooc'' OMG RAINY THEY SHOULD SO DO A PRIVATE THREAD NOWWWW

Orientalpaw swiped her tongue around her maw thoughtfully. "Hi, Kindledpaw." Well, it wasn't like she didn't know him; they were both apprentices, pretty obvious. "The name's Orientalpaw, though I think you may have seen me around somewhere, though probably not in the training hollow considering Darkflash is now dead." The two grey orbs called her eyes darkened with sorrow for a brief moment; then they cleared and became emotionless again, unwilling to reveal her feelings.
"Why so scared? You seem a little nervous, ashamed almost." The Oriental Shorthair purred slightly and lay her tail across his shoulders, remembering a trick taught by her mother to wiggle the truth out of toms.

The sleek silver tabby oriental slipped out of the apprentice's den with a luxurious yawn. Her mentor had recently died, and though she was sad, he had never been the nicest cat in the world anyway and it was sort of karma that he had been killed. Besides, being a mentorless cat meant that you could catch up on your beauty sleep, and of course Orientalpaw was eager to do that. She was an early bird, but recently she had been sleeping in late if just because there was nothing better to do any more. It was all boring, boring, boring, though she wasn't going to be the first to admit that she missed her now deceased, ex-mentor.
Her grey eyes fixed on Kindledpaw. Her parents were of two different clans; she'd never know, but her father was a ThunderClanner while her mother was of ShadowClan. She had had five siblings, but three had been given to ThunderClan and now only her and another, her sister, remained. It had never bothered the runt of the litter, as the two were fussed over greatly, and unlike most other apprentices Orientalpaw truly enjoyed the fuss. After all, if you weren't fussed over, you didn't get to sleep with your [once again pregnant] mother in the nursery if you were upset or had recently had a nightmare. You didn't get an extra piece of prey a day. You didn't have that ultra-close bond with your mother and sister like they all did.

Orientalpaw sidled up to Kindledpaw with a somewhat friendly smile on her maw.

Name:
Orientalpaw

Gender:
Female

Alliance:
ShadowClan

Rank:
Apprentice

Appearance:
The ripples of dark grey on a sea of silver merge and flicker to create a ghostly appearance
on this marbled silver tabby. Like many of her breed, she is thin, long and angular, far from a short and
stocky creature like some of the other cat breeds. Her tail is long and thin, just like her legs, and all in all
this silver tabby Oriental Shorthair looks more like a WindClan cat than a ShadowClan cat. Her eyes are
a stormy grey, in between the two colours of her markings and base fur colour. Calm and carefully
guarded, they are a wonder and yet they are strangely scary in that they rarely betray their emotions.
So all in all she is a gorgeous she-cat, though her eyes are kind of strangely compelling yet creepy.

Personality:
Guarded yet protective, calm yet impulsive, this she-cat is a strange wonder. She is, for a
start, fiercely loyal, and would do anything to protect her clan and those she loves. Rarely betraying
any emotion, she is calm and quiet, though when she is annoyed or angry she can hold a grudge for a
scarily long time. Orientalpaw is unusual for her breed in persona, it would seem; guarded, quiet... Her
breed is anything but, really, which is what makes her strange. But she has love in her heart and a blaze
in her eyes, so her other quirks can be overlooked.

History:
The rain lashed the Oriental's face as she stalked through the undergrowth determinedly as
she moved towards the thunderpath, squinting against the rain. She settled herself down by the black
tarmac and waited patiently, ears flickering as the water soaked her short, brown tabby pelt.
A silver tabby Oriental of the opposite gender had also been moving towards the thunderpath for the same
reason as the she-cat; they were both looking for each other, and were mates despite being from different
clans. Forbidden love was common; it was unlikely that they were going to find a mate in their original clans
anyway.

The ThunderClan male ~ Topspeed ~ dashed across the thunderpath with surprising speed, skidding to a
halt beside the ShadowClan female ~ Candybar. The two sat and chatted, blah blah blah, mated, and then
returned to their clans. Normal stuff for a forbidden couple, right?

But now Candybar was pregnant, and soon later she gave birth to five kittens. One, the youngest, was
Orientalkit, named after her breed. One day, when they were two moons old, Candy took all the kittens
to the thunderpath and waited for Topspeed, who on cue, emerged from the grass. Candybar gave
him of the kittens, two males and a female, and he returned to ThunderClan with them.

Now Orientalkit had remained in ShadowClan. After the memory faded from her mind, and she grew up
believing she had one sister who looked exactly like her, she lived a fairly happy life and is now a loyal
apprentice of ShadowClan.
