     Nighttimepaw shook her head,"Got a little carried away." She shrugged, wrapping her tail neatly around her paws. The skinny pale grey she-cat's whisker's twitched and she averted her eyes off to the side again.

Purekit exclaimed happily, looking back up at Firstpaw.
The kitten ran around the den wildly, scattering the neatly set herbs.

     "Anyways, I couldn't even begin to imagine the life of a loner." Nighttimepaw meowed, speaking the first thing that came into her head to avoid an awkward silence,"I mean, I guess it has to be easier in some ways. No rules, few worries, no eyes constantly waiting for you to fail and expecting you to be the perfect little cat that you try to be, but just ... I am so sorry." She had been speaking that last part about perfection and all without thinking and lowered her head in embarrassment.
